No more wusses!

We had a ward party and barbecue 2 weekends ago. They had put down some heavy duty plastic and made a huge slip and slide that was probably like 30 feet long! Of course Carter didn't want to do it (he is kind of a wuss when it comes to stuff like that). Matt finally decided he was just going to take him up there and push him down it. He litterally did push him down the slide and Carter laughed the whole way down. It seems like that is how it goes with Carter, he doesn't want to try things and once he does he loves them! I was talking to a lady in my ward and I was telling her about Carter, and she said, "We don't tolerate wusses in our house." So I decided that is my new motto. No more wusses in the Shane house! I want my kids to try everything! What do you think?
Matt's face is classic in this one!

I think that is a great policy - they have to try everything! Love the picture of Matt and Carter!

that looks like so much fun.

I agree. Whenever big kids are around the moms are always apologizing because Eli gets smothered but I don't mind (that is, as long as bodily harm is not being induced). I want him to get used to it so he has thick skin:)

I totally agree, my kids are chicken just like me so I try to never tell them anything is scary. The house is awesome! How exciting.

Evan is the same way with food! I know that if he would try one little bite, that he would eat the whole thing! The other day: I got him to eat chicken salad, but only because I called it a "pickle sandwich". It was good to see you guys yesterday! Love the house pic!

I'm joining the club: No more wussies in my house!

Your blog is inspiring! I finally started my own (I personally think they're best for married people with adorable kids to show off, but we'll see how this works!) Check it out!

I love you guys and miss ya! Hopefully things are going well, and I think I might be coming over on Sunday, we'll see how work rolls!

Eli can be a wuss too. I'm glad Carter went down the slide because that made Eli want to go down more!
